Irakkandy wreck (6 - 10meters)

Irakkandy wreck is the only available wreck dive in Trincomalee diving tours. It is deal place beginners also explore and wreck diving is adventurous diving experience. Irakkandy is the place of wreck located in Nilaveli - Trincomalee. Irakkandy wreck was 18^th century European steam ship and 15 minutes boat ride from the shore.

Presently wreck covered in corals and it has given lives to mollusks, schools of Barracuda, Angle fish and parrot fish can be spotted around the wreck.

Pigeon Island (1 meters – 10 meters) 

Pigeon island is a marine national park and diversified with many colourful fish and corals. Pigeon island near the Nilaveli coast and 2 km away from the Nilaveli coast. You will explore Black tip Reef sharks, Turtles, Moray eels, soft and hard corals.

Black Tip Points (2 m–8 m)

Eel Dock (12 m – 18m)

Ghost rock is nick-name given by divers because of the unusual shape of the rock. Some folktales say it was the cemetery of great Ravana warrior. You can explore the colourful fish and corals around the reef.   

Sand hole (25 m–30 m)

Sand hole is a flat reef with sand hole in the center, and you can spot more colourful fish. It is ideal diving site for advance open water divers.

High patch (20 m–25 m)

Swami Rock (10 m–30 m)

Swami rock is the historical diving site and connected with Koneshwaram historical Hindu temple. You can explore the corals and reef fish.
