Mirissa to Galle cycling tour is a combination of exploring the countryside, colonial inheritance, history of ancient Southern coast and cycling back to Mirissa along with sunset on Southern coast road. It is wonderful cycling tour in Southern coast and you can explore the beauty of the southern coast. Mirissa to Galle cycling tour starts from your hotel in Mirissa or Weligama. You will cycle along with Weligama countryside to Koggala cinnamon village and it is approx. distance 35 Km from the starting point. You will explore unique landscapes of the countryside and people living style. You will visit to cinnamon house and you will experience cinnamon village functioning, cinnamon processing. Cinnamon households welcome you with a warm smile with cinnamon tea and it is the natives’ ancient refreshment before introduce the tea by British. 

After the cinnamon village experience, continue the cycling tour to Galle Dutch Fort and while you are cycling, you will hear the interesting historical things based on the Southern coast. You will get the lunch at Galle Dutch fort Restaurant and after the lunch you will do mini walk in Galle Dutch fort and explore the Dutch inheritance. Galle Duct fort built by the Portuguese in 1588 but it is small part and that Portuguese part named black fort. Dutch sailors extend the fort to 52 hectares and build all administration institutes in the Dutch fort. 

After the mini walk in Dutch fort cycling back to Mirissa along with Southern coast. En route you will experience stilt fishing and it is a unique fishing method in Southern coast.
