Fishing in Hikkaduwa is an exciting and challenging experience. Hikkaduwa also naturally blessed with many fishing spots because vast coral reef creates foods and home for many fish species. Hikkaduwa fishing tour takes place 6 NM–12 NM away from the coast. Hikkaduwa fishing season starts from after the second monsoon ends (November–April) and best fishing period from February–March. Possibility of Hikkaduwa fishing during the period over 90%.

Hikkaduwa fishing tour is taking place 6 - 12 NM away from the shore and it is 3 - 4 hrs trolling fishing tour in Hikkaduwa. There will be a local fishing guide, who has experience over 15 years and he will take you fishing spots based on his experience.     It is an early morning tour starts at 6.30 a.m. and possibility of fishing early morning over 90% and sea also perfect for sailing

    After the 12 p.m. windy and hard to sail and when the sunlight upon to ocean surface gets shiny hence hard to spot the fishing spots. 
    We have given evening fishing as an option. Who wants fishing but who cannot do in the morning but evening possibility of fishing very poor

    If you could not do fishing because of terrible weather and if you complain before you sail, then we will cancel the operation and money will be fully refunded. But once you sail and if you complained, then we cannot refund the money because we already incurred cost for the particular operation, therefore, we cannot refund. 
    So please ensure keep complaints before you sail and check the weather before you sail. It does not matter even last minute if you cancel the tour and cost can refund

    Trolling is a method of fishing where one or more fishing lines, baited with lures or bait fish, are drawn through the water. This may be behind a moving boat, or by slowly winding the line when fishing from a static position, or even sweeping the line from side-to-side.
    Trolling fishing is a highly successful method and best session is in the morning

    Boat is not moving and anchors nearby fishing spot such as Coral Reef or rocky area. There is no specific best time, but in the night more success
