Minneriya National Park
Circling the beautiful Minneriya Tank (3c A.D), the green surroundings are strikingly different to the arid landscape. Kaudulla National Park is a located 22 Km away from the Habarana Town and Kaudulla National Park is similar landscapes like Minneriya National Park. Kaudulla National Park safari based in Kaudulla water tank and it is the 16th irrigation water tank built by King Mahasen. Kaudulla National Park spread 6,900 hectares and Kaudulla National Park specialized for Wild Elephants but other than elephant there are many colourful birds, deer and many animal species.
Hurulu Eco-Park
Hurulu Eco-Park is nearby the Habarana Town and 6 Km away from the Habarana. Hurulu Eco-Park bit unpopular national park comparative to Minneriya national Park and Kaudulla National Park. because 80% of Sigiriya safari takes place between Kaudulla and Minneriya national parks.
