Day 01                                                                   Airport – Kandy


  • Welcome at the Airport and Proceed to Kandy.
  • Kandy City Tour
  • Temple of Tooth Relic visit
  • Overnight stay in Kandy

About 1st day

Our official representative meets and welcomes you at the Airport and proceeds to Kandy. En-route you can refresh with coconut drink.

In the evening you will do Kandy City tour and you will explore Traditional handicraft and you will experience brass, wood, mask art works and traditional drum makers.

After the Handicraft experience, students may visit to most important place for Buddhist and you will experience people customs and different offerings to Lord Buddha.        

Drive Time and Distance: 3 – 4 hrs drive and approximately 140 Km


Kandy is in climatic terms, a world apart due to its altitude of 500m above sea level. The town was captured by the British in 1815, and is known more for its cultural and spiritual importance rather than its history. Buddhists from all over the world, come to this delightful old highland town, specifically to visit the Temple of the Tooth, the Dalada Maligawa. The costly jewelled shrine of the holy tooth (said to be 3.5cm long by 1cm thick and Buddha’s left canine) is kept in the upper floor of the original building. This relic was brought from India 1,500 years ago and every year, at the time of the August full moon, it is paraded round the town with great pomp and circumstance.


Day 02                                                                   Kandy – Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage 


  • After Breakfast proceed to Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. 
  • Visit to Elephant Orphanage and Volunteer programme
  • Lunch at Elephant Orphanage Restaurant
  • Evening Tea Plucking Experience
  • Evening Culture Dancing show.  
  • Overnight stay in Kandy

About 2nd Day

After the Breakfast proceed to Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage and Student will be divided into small Teams. Each Team task will be allocated and students involve with 3 hours volunteer programme with Elephant Orphanage staffs. Students experience feeding baby elephants and after the lunch proceed to Kandy.

Evening walks in Hanthana Tea Plantation and experience Tea plucking. Visit to Ceylon Tea Museum and student explore British Tea planters footprints and classical Tea manufacturing machines.  

Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage

The Department of National Zoological Garden has set up an orphanage for baby elephants at Pinnawela which is about 13 Km from Kegalle – Rambukkana Road. The orphanage was established to feed, nurse and house young elephant found abandoned by their mothers. Often the young ones fall into pits and ravines in their quest for water during drought period. Other inmates at the orphanage are those displaced from their natural environs by development project or those found diseased or wounded the orphanage is 16 years old. The animals that were brought during the initial years are now capable of breeding and have in fact bred.

Drive Time and Distance: 2 hrs drive and approximately 62 Km (One way)


Day 03                                                                   Kandy – KIthulgala  


  • After Breakfast proceed to Kithulgala. 
  • Kithulgala Adventure Activities
  • White Water Rafting
  • Jungle Trekking
  • Rock Sliding
  • Confident Jump in Small waterfall.
  • Sri Lankan Lunch and Cooking Demonstration at campsite
  • BBQ Dinner and Overnight stay at Wild Ceylon Campsite.

Standard Package: Wild Ceylon Safari Camping – Standard Tent (Triple Sharing Tent).

About 3rd Day


After Breakfast early morning proceed to Kithulgala and starts most thrilling adventure game “white water rafting” After the Rafting Trekking through the jungle and Rock sliding, Confident Jump.

Lunch will be arranged in the campsite and after lunch visit to Beli Lena Cave and Explore over 25000 year old ancient homosapien.

Before Dinner experience Tribal Dance by Indigenous people and BBQ dinner with campfire at the campsite.

About Kithulgala

Kithulgala blessed with Water and Sri Lanka inland water based adventure centre is Kithulgala. The experience of White Water Rafting in the picturesque Kelani River, there are 7 rapids covering 3 major rapids and 4 minor rapids (Grade 2 -3 rapids). Every rapid gives you great fun…epic excitement…!


Day 04                                                 Kithulgala – Negombo


  • After Breakfast proceed to Negombo
  • Visit to Negombo Fishing village
  • Evening beach Volleyball game
  • Overnight stay in Negombo.

Standard Package: Hotel J Negombo – Standard Room (3 star Hotel) or Similar hotel.

About 5th Day

After Breakfast proceed to Negombo and visit to Negombo fishing village and explore local fishermen living style and customs of fishermen. In the  evening play Beach Volleyball.

Drive Time and Distance: 140 Km and 3 – 4 hrs drive

  • After Breakfast Proceed to Airport for the departure
